Nick Clawson is an associate in the firm’s patent practice group, where he spends his time drafting patent applications related to electrical engineering technologies. Nick also has experience in IP litigation matters, assisting attorneys with legal research, the drafting of pleadings and motions, and conducting factual diligence.
Nick is a graduate of University of Washington School of Law. He has a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Prior to entering law school, Nick served as a logistics officer in the United States Army, utilizing his leadership and communication skills to craft unique solutions to a variety of challenges while leading a diverse team of individuals.
Nick brings his strong organizational and tactical planning mindset to projects. He has experience creating and implementing tracking and reporting systems and working with and across departments and agencies to obtain the information and cooperation needed to bring complex tasks to completion. Nick is conversational in Spanish with basic knowledge of the Russian language.
