USPTO National Strategy for Inclusive Innovation
The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is recognizing National Disability Employment Awareness Month this October, with a focus on inclusive innovation to help empower innovators, including the 29% of American adults with disabilities. Through their National Strategy for Inclusive Innovation and other initiatives, the USPTO is working to create resources that are more accessible to people with disabilities. The Department of Commerce’s first-ever National Disability Leadership Summit was held on September 17, 2024, where leaders discussed the USPTO’s important work in empowering people of all ability levels.
