Taylor Fairchild Discusses AI’s Influence on 2024 Legal Trends
COJK attorney Taylor Fairchild participated in a CLE presentation hosted by the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) to discuss the latest updates in legal artificial intelligence (AI). Taylor presented the session, “Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property: What We can Learn from AI Caselaw,” where she provided a review of 2024 case law updates and what these decisions teach us. Additional sessions included a discussion about how AI is continuing to shape the legal field and future opportunities and threats posed by AI, and a legal AI panel discussion and Q&A.
Other speakers included Jenny Durkan of the WSBA Legal Technology Task Force in Seattle and technology lawyer Damien Riehl, of vLex, a global legal intelligence platform based in Minneapolis, MN.
