Super Lawyers Names COJK Attorneys to 2016 List
Super Lawyers recognized four COJK attorneys in the 2016 edition of its annual publication, naming Jerry Nagae and George Renzoni as “Washington Super Lawyers,” and Rhys Lawson and Alina Morris as “Rising Stars.” Jerry Nagae, leader of the firm’s patent group, practices all aspects of intellectual property law, providing vital counsel to clients on patents, trademarks, copyrights, IP transactions, and litigation; George Renzoni, co-managing member of the firm and head of COJK’s life sciences group, focuses his practice on the procurement of U.S. and foreign patents, patent portfolio strategy and development, technology licensing and due diligence investigations; Rhys Lawson, a member in the life science and mechanical practice groups, focuses his practice on creating patent portfolios to obtain worldwide protection for clients’ inventions; and Alina Morris, an associate in the trademark practice group, practices all aspects of domestic and international trademark law, including counseling, clearance, filing, prosecution, registration, maintenance, enforcement, defense, and portfolio management.
The annual survey is a multiphased process that includes peer nominations and evaluations, combined with independent research, resulting in the rating of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas.
