Stanford Technology Law Review Publishes Study on Value of Trademark Lawyers
In an article recently published in the Stanford Technology Law Review, a study conducted by professors at the University of North Carolina School of Law revealed that hiring an experienced trademark lawyer, when looking to register a trademark, increased the likelihood that your mark will be approved by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The study involved the review of trademark application statistics between 1985 and 2010, concluding that the presence of a lawyer made a meaningful difference in the success of getting a trademark application approved. "Do Trademark Lawyers Matter?" appears in volume 16, issue number three of the Spring 2013 Stanford Technology Law Review.
