COJK Welcomes New Attorney J. Adrian Mihailovic, Ph.D.
COJK is pleased to welcome J. Adrian Mihailovic, Ph.D., as an of counsel attorney. Adrian is joining the firm’s computer science and electrical engineering practice group, and will focus his practice on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the electrical, mechanical, medical, and software technologies.
Adrian provides patent procurement services to a diverse group of clients. He also performs due diligence analysis, including patentability opinions, infringement analysis, freedom-to-operate opinions, and patent valuation analysis. Adrian has extensive experience with semiconductor manufacturing, testing, and packaging. He also has an excellent understanding of digital signal processing, wireless technologies, and electronics.

Prior to joining COJK, Adrian was an associate at the Seattle office of Perkins Coie LLP, where he represented clients in protecting their intellectual property in the areas of semiconductors, electronics, wireless data transfer, and renewable energy.
Adrian received his J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School. He has a Ph.D. in mechanical and aerospace engineering, an M.S. in electrical and computer engineering, and 10 years of high-tech engineering experience.
