COJK was pleased to sponsor and participate in the inaugural Seattle IP Defense Summit. The summit examined all aspects of intellectual property defense including defense strategies, preparing for litigation, protecting trade secrets, defending against non-practicing entities, and navigating post-issuance proceedings.
COJK attorney Everett Fruehling, head of the firm’s trademark practice, participated in the panel discussion, “Trademark Portfolio Management: Filing and Enforcement Strategies.” Joining him on the panel was Brian Endter, Corporate Counsel at Corbis Corporation; Eric Lent, Vice President and General Counsel at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates; and Teresa Wiant, Senior Intellectual Property Counsel at Weyerhaeuser Company.
