COJK Named to IAM's Leading Patent Practitioner List
COJK and two members of the firm were included in International Asset Management (IAM) magazine's second publication of the guide, IAM 1000 — The World’s Leading Patent Practitioners. The guide identifies the top patent practitioners in key jurisdictions around the world. The IAM 1000 recommended the firm for both patent prosecution and litigation in Washington state, noting that the firm "breeds and hires multifaceted lawyers with dexterity across the board."
John Denkenberger, co-managing member of the firm and head of the litigation practice group, was named to the list for the second year in a row, notably, as the only practitioner recommended in all three categories for Washington state: litigation, prosecution and licensing. Patent attorney Kevan Morgan, co-head of the patent practice group, was included in the list for patent prosecution, and identified as a "top resource" for prosecution and enforcement.
The guide was compiled by an extensive research process which included hundreds of interviews with attorneys at law, patent attorneys and in-house counsel to gather market intelligence on the leading lawyers in the field. Firms and individuals qualify for a listing on the basis of their depth of expertise, market presence and the level of work on which they are typically engaged.
