COJK Named to IAM's 2017 List of Leading Patent Professionals
COJK and five members of the firm were included in International Asset Management (IAM) magazine’s sixth annual publication of the guide, IAM Patent 1000 — The World’s Leading Patent Professionals. The guide recommended the firm in all three categories in Washington state: litigation, prosecution, and transactions. The guide reports COJK as "one of Seattle's oldest IP players," and one that is "wholeheartedly endorsed" by clients, noting client comments that included, “the firm does absolutely brilliant work, is cost sensitive and always delivers on time.”
John Denkenberger, co-managing member of the firm and head of the litigation practice group, maintains his status as the only practitioner in Washington state to be recommended in all three of the categories; Jerry Nagae, head of the firm’s patent practice group, is recommended for patent prosecution and patent transactions; and George Renzoni, co-managing member and head of the firm's life sciences practice group, is recommended for patent prosecution, as are members Rhys Lawson and Brandon Stallman.
IAM Patent 1000 identifies leading firms and individuals in the patent prosecution, transactions and litigation fields around the world. The guide was compiled following an extensive research process which included hundreds of interviews with attorneys at law, patent attorneys and in-house counsel to gather market intelligence on the leading lawyers in the field. Firms and individuals qualify for a listing on the basis of their depth of expertise, market presence and the level of work on which they are typically engaged.
