COJK is pleased to announce a breakfast briefing outlining the issues that arise when you receive a notice of alleged patent infringement, or are considering sending one. The session is aimed primarily at in-house attorneys and business professionals who amongst their other responsibilities, handle patent and other intellectual property issues.
This breakfast briefing will be split into two distinct parts. The first part will be a guide to what to do if you have received a letter explicitly or implicitly accusing your company of infringement. The second part will provide an overview of what to do if you think another company is infringing your patent.
Topics covered will include:
- A brief overview of patent infringement
- A checklist of issues to consider if you have been accused of patent infringement
- Issues to consider if you feel someone is infringing your patent
- The costs of litigation and alternative billing structures
