COJK attorneys Alina Morris and David Sheldon joined hundreds of volunteers this past weekend at the "Seattle United for Immigrants and Refugees Mega-Workshop" workshop to assist foreign-born permanent residents with the necessary paperwork to apply for U.S. citizenship. The event, hosted by the City of Seattle, offered free counseling and legal services to people seeking assistance with immigration questions and completing the citizenship application. In its second year, the workshop gathered more than 800 registered volunteers over the weekend to assist over 1000 people. Full coverage of the event is available at KOMO News.
