COJK Attorneys Teach IP Course at Seattle University
Seattle University School of Law hosted its third annual Summer Practice Academy, a series of intensive and interactive certificate programs for lawyers on cutting-edge topics designed to enhance their practice and develop their skills in growing areas of the law.
COJK attorneys Matt Balint, Ryan Dodge, and Alina Morris conducted the three-day program, “Intellectual Property: From Fundamentals to Enforcement.” Day one covered the basics of intellectual property; day two explored a practical understanding and application of IP in the business world, as well as a discussion of the recently passed Defend Trade Secrets Act; and day three discussed advanced client issues and IP conflicts.
Seattle University Summer Practice Academy courses draw upon the significant expertise of the law school faculty, as well as prominent practitioners in the community. Other programs included "Mastering Legal Writing Certificate Program," and "Health Law Certificate."
