COJK Attorneys Named to 2016 List of "IP Stars"
Managing Intellectual Property named COJK and two of its attorneys to its 2016 edition of IP Stars. This is the first year the guide distinguished between “Trade Mark and Patent Stars” practitioners. COJK was recommended as a top IP firm in Washington state and attorneys Everett Fruehling and Jerry Nagae were selected for their work in intellectual property law. The firm was recognized for the “strength and breadth of its patent and trademark prosecution work,” and the attorneys’ “hands-on industry experience” in the fields they practice. Everett Fruehling was recognized as a “Trade Mark Star” for his domestic and global trademark practice and his work as a former United States Patent and Trademark examining attorney. The guide recognized Jerry Nagae as a “Patent Star” for the patent, trademark, and copyright work he provides to clients through his global IP portfolio management services. Selection to the guide is based on market feedback and other independent information obtained by Managing Intellectual Property’s team of researchers. The publication features recommended practitioners in private practice in over 40 jurisdictions.
