COJK Attorneys Attend 2015 INTA Conference
COJK attorneys Everett Fruehling, Alina Morris, Melissa Nowak, and Brandon Stallman attended the 137th International Trademark Association (INTA) annual meeting that took place in San Diego, California. This year’s meeting included discussions ranging from the fundamentals of licensing, to differences in perspectives between trademark practitioners and academics, to personal branding and marketing. Advanced topics included a discussion on mediation, and a mock TRO hearing with a Federal judge.
Alina Morris facilitated the luncheon table topic discussion, "More Than Merely Descriptive: Anticipating, Answering, Amending and Accepting Trademark Act Section 2(e) Refusals," on May 2. The 2015 INTA Annual Meeting was held at the San Diego Convention Center on May 2 – 6, 2015.
