COJK trademark client Piroshky Piroshky, a Pike Place Market bakery selling individually made from scratch piroshkies, was highlighted in the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) new resource page for small- and medium-sized businesses, Resources for SMEs.
The article praises owner Olga Sagan for her business savvy for growing the business from one location to three in just three years, and for recognizing the value of her intellectual property and seeking the proper protection of her brands. Ms. Sagan, a 2020 Washington Small Businessperson of the Year recipient, also started a new venture at the onset of the coronavirus pandemic: Catch22Market.com, an online platform designed to bring consumers and restauranteurs together directly, eliminating the need for third-party delivery services that cost both the consumers and the business owners money.
