Cruz Foam, a manufacturer of sustainable packaging solutions that actively take material out of the waste stream, is recognized in the “Reuse & Recycle” category of TIME Magazine’s list. The company manufactures naturally sourced biopolymers and other bio-based ingredients to create sustainable and biodegradable packaging that is compatible with existing manufacturing equipment and infrastructure. The biodegradable packaging has properties comparable to EPS (expanded polystyrene), polyethylene, or other conventional plastic foams but without the disposal issues associated with these materials.
